About the Chef

Cooking for Julie began at 8 years old. Her grandmother guided her on the phone with step by step instructions as she cooked her first dish, Rice n’ Gravy! She continued cooking authentic Cajun dishes, enjoying the rich flavors of her heritage throughout her life.

After her first child, she began her journey into healthier eating. She quickly figured out that if she was going to eat healthy, it had to taste good! She began putting a healthy twist to her favorite recipes and created great success.

Julie is a Certified Natural Health Professional, Certified Health Coach, ServSafe Food Protection Manager, and Chef for Seasoned Plate. It brings her great joy to see others enjoy the food that she prepares. She enjoys helping others and seeing them succeed in every area of their lives. 

God has truly given her a gift and she is now sharing it with others to create health in their life without compromising on flavor!
